Musical

Michael Bennett’s production of A Chorus Line won nine Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama when it opened on Broadway in 1975 and went on to become the then longest running musical on Broadway achieving an astonishing 6137 performances.

Broadway gypsies bare their souls and put their lives "on the line" as they audition for an unnamed Broadway musical. The 1975 show won the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Musical. The score includes "What I Did for Love," "The Music and the Mirror," "At the Ballet" and "Dance Ten, Looks Three. "

Notes From James:

That's right theatre fans. One of the world's most beloved musicals of all time is returning to the West End this winter. A Chorus Line will begin performances at the London Palladium Theatre on February 5. Winner of nine Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize A Chorus Line has continued to be performed at theatres around the world for over four decades. Now except for a local dinner theatre production I have never seen it on Broadway. The original production closed two years before I moved here and while the recent revival ran for almost two years I never got around to seeing it. We won't even talk about the god awful 1985 movie. Michael Douglas as Zach? Really? Whatever. For those of you looking for tickets to see A Chorus Line there is no better time than right now. Good seats are available as we speak. Get your tickets to see A Chorus Line. It is theatre at it's finest.
