Long after the letters are done, the real question remains: Have they made the right choices, or is the love of their life only a letter away?

A.R. Gurney's two-character play follows the relationship between a straight-arrow man and a free-spirited woman throughout their lives — from childhood to adulthood, as chronicled in the letters they write to each other.
