Francesca, a passionate Italian transplanted to a farm in Madison County, Iowa, meets Robert, a globe-trotting photographer on assignment to capture the area's covered bridges. Starring Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale and directed by Bartlett Sher.

An Iowa housewife and mother, home alone for a short spell, has a romantic interlude with a National Geographic photographer. Based on the novel by Robert James Waller.

Great. Just what Broadway needs. Another movie turned musical. Well there hasn't been one of those in awhile now has there? Not. The Bridges of Madison County,which is based on the 1995 film of the same name will begin previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater on January 17,2014 with opening night scheduled for February 27. Now believe it or not but I have never seen the movie. Surprised huh? Yes I know it has two Hollywood legends in the movie. You don't get bigger than Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep.
